Municipality of Krivogashtani is located in the heart of the Pelagonia valley, surrounded by the towns of Bitola, Prilep and Krusevo. The municipality has 11 settlements plus Krivogastani where the seat of the municipality is. The total population is 6.150 inhabitants of which 95% is mainly engaged in agriculture, production of vegetables such as onions, potatoes, pepper, tobacco and grains.

Industrial zone “Slavej” is a potential place for investment in Krivogashtani. The industrial zone is located in the populated place Slavej – Municipality of Krivogashtani on the road Prilep – Krusevo. It distances from Krivogastani 6,5 km and 15 km from Prilep. The industrial area has access to electricity, water, drainage and water treatment plant, telecommunications links. The total area available to the zone is 6.622 ha, of which only 10% is currently built.

Krivogashtani Promet”, a company for processing and canning vegetables is an example of successful “brownfield” investment in Krivogashtani. The company is located in the industrial zone “Slavej”. In the coming period a “greenfield” investment Ltd “Stefan”, a company that will deal with the purchase and processing of vegetables, has been announced.
