On the 27^th of May 2016 in Skopje officially was signed the new Contract for support of the Business Center in Pelagonia region, between the Ministry of Local Government and Center for development of Pelagonija planning region.

The purpose of this Contract is to support the Business Center towards encouraging the development of small and medium businesses, increasing competition between municipalities and regions and attract new investors by facilitating access to institutions and services in the region.

Business Centre will work on providing information on existing industrial zones in the region, free locations with their characteristics and benefits, guide for investments with the strategic objectives of the region for developing certain sectors, information events for national and EU programs to support the private sector and economic growth. In the upcoming period, with the support of the Ministry of Local Government and GIZ, Business Center will focus on the preparation of regional innovation strategy.

On this official event, attended Minister of Local Government Ms Shiret Elezi, Director of the Center for development of Pelagonija planning region Ms. Emilia Gjeroska, State Secretary at MLS, as well as representatives of GIZ, UNDP and Business Centers of the planning regions.
